Concerts

We are excited to be in our 31st season and we hope you will join us in person or via livestream! Our calendar is finalized, and we are pleased to present to you our new season lineup:

October 13, 2024: Our annual Harvest of Song concert Music is Elemental will include a free will offering to benefit the Valley Area Agency On Aging.  Valley Area Agency on Aging (VAAA) provides answers, action and advocacy on care for the elderly and disabled adults of Genesee, Lapeer, and Shiawassee Counties, by enhancing lives, empowering choice, sustaining independence and supporting caregivers and families. During the concert, the chorale will explore the four classical elements: earth, air, fire, and water.

December 8, 2024: Join us for our Yuletide Festival, Christmas Around the World, at 4:00pm. This concert will feature many traditional Christmas music favorites – sometimes with a twist – as well as new or rarely heard music. The performance will include music representing 15 countries as we explore how various cultures celebrate the holiday.

March 2, 2025: Join us at 4:00pm at St. Paul’s for a mid-winter concert, Made in Michigan. This performance will feature the music of Music composers, arrangers, and musicians. It will also include a special performance with the Carolyn Mawby Chorale.

March 16, 2025: Flint Festival of Choirs with Carolyn Mawby Chorale and University of Michigan-Flint Chamber Singers. The concert will conclude with a combined choir conducted by Dr. Brandon Boyd from the University of Missouri.

May 4, 2025: We wrap up our season with our last concert, A Sacred Mosaic, at 4:00pm at St. Paul’s.   This concert will feature songs paired with each of the beautiful stained-glass windows at St. Paul’s.

All concerts will be livestreamed. For more information, visit our website at newcenturychorale.org.
