New Century Chorale is an adult choir with voices representing communities throughout Genesee and Northern Oakland counties. Celebrating our 32nd year, the chorale remains dedicated to the enrichment of our community through the joy of music. New Century Chorale is committed to enriching lives, one song at a time.
October 12, 2025: Our annual Harvest of Song concert, A Choral Passport, will take you on a musical adventure around the world. This concert will include a free will offering to benefit Beauty for Ashes, non-profit ministry dedicated to bringing hope and healing to women who are survivors of human trafficking and those at risk of exploitation and addiction. Several local high school students and the University of Michigan – Flint Orchestra will combine to perform Franz Schubert’s Mass No. 2 in G Major. St. Paul’s Episcopal – 4:00pm
December 14, 2025: Join us for our Yuletide Festival, Christmas through the Ages. We will feature many traditional Christmas music favorites going back to the Medieval Era. St. Paul’s Episcopal – 4:00pm
March 1, 2026: The Road Home will celebrate travel in all of its many forms from walking to flying. We hope that you will join us on our musical journey. St. Paul’s Episcopal – 4:00pm
May 3, 2026: We conclude our regular season with Music in My Mother’s House. This concert will feature music from female composers and arrangers. 4:00pm at St. Paul’s.
May 30, 2026: Join us for a special concert with Sarah Quartel at the Rod Bushey Performance Hall in Howell, Michigan. We have collaborated with the Livingston County Chorale and the Choral Artists of Michigan to commission Sarah to compose a new piece of music. In addition to the world premiere, we will also perform some of Sarah’s other compositions. The concert starts at 5:00pm and will feature all three ensembles.
